在1995年成功通过美国纽约州律师执业考试之后，Daniel Romano律师曾投身商界，并在这一领域获得了商业、政治与社会运动方面不可估量的经验与资源。Daniel Romano律师曾独立或与他人共创了若干企业，如H2O Adventures、 Teambuilding Montreal、 C.A.G.E. Canada和Spa Mana等等。他的各种商业项目让他在日本、德国、美国、中东、东南亚等地区都留下了足迹。在积累了丰富的国际经验后，Romano律师回归到他热衷的法律领域。他在执业过程中一直致力于让客户的意愿得到聆听。不管是在法庭上还是在私人谈判中，Romano律师都竭尽全力为客户的权益而抗争。

Daniel Romano律师长期担任若干私人或非营利性组织的董事会成员，他也常常被选任主持这些组织的董事会议。Romano律师热衷于为弱势群体发声。在过去35年里，他曾是许多环境保护团体，例如Nature Conservancy、 National Geographic、Sea Shepherd、Cousteau Society、Wildlife Defense Fund和PETA的活跃成员和资助人。与此同时 他还是加拿大宪法基金会（the Canadian Constitution Foundation）的资助人。

伴侣间暴力案件：
在一场得到高度调解的案件中，Romano律师和Kalman Samuels团队为客户争取到了大额的精神损害赔偿和惩罚性赔偿，并打破了魁北克省内以及加拿大境内伴侣间暴力案件的赔偿金判决记录。媒体也曾报道，不少维权人士都称赞这是为受到配偶虐待的受害者们打开了获得法律救济的大门。
虚假指控
与此同时，Romano律师从不轻饶虚假指控。在一起子女抚养权案件中，一方家长就其所受的人身和性虐待作了虚假指控以图在诉讼中占据有利地位。Romano律师成功争取到了针对这位作出虚假指控的家长的远离命令。请见魁北克省高等法院Karen Kear Jodoin法官于2018-04-18作出的判决）
隐私权案件：
Romano律师已经为许多客户获得了禁制令和要求侵权人从网上撤回其个人信息或不实信息的法庭命令，还常常为客户争取到了侵权赔偿金或案件和解。
国际法案件
Romano律师已经多次以专家证人的身份，为外国法院解释在加拿大和魁北克省适用的国际家庭法。
