Immigration Categories

Quebec Experience Program

This program is similar to the Canadian Experience Class and is designed for immigration candidates who have worked or studied in Quebec and who wish to obtain Canadian Permanent Residence. This program allows for candidates to obtain a CSQ faster than the regular Quebec Skilled Workers Program if all conditions are met. The fees for preparing this application range from $2,000 to $3,000 depending upon the complexity of the file.

Canadian Experience (express entry)

The Canadian Experience Class of application is an express entry process designed for individuals who have their temporary residency in Canada and have established themselves within their field. These individuals are acquainted with Canada and already integrated to a large degree. The professional fees for preparing this application range from $2,500 to $7,000 depending upon complexity of the file.

Federal Skilled Trades Program

Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP) is an express entry application that provides an opportunity to apply for the permanent residency in Canada via the accelerated Express Entry application management system. Family Sponsorship

The Province of Quebec and Canada offer a very popular family sponsorship process under its family reunification program. This program requires a sponsor residing within Quebec. As with other applications, candidates must fulfill Federal and Provincial criteria to qualify. The professional fees for preparing this application range from $3,500 to $5,000 depending upon complexity of the file. Additional fees apply for additional family members.

Investor Application

Quebec offers a very vigorous investor applicant program. These applications can be among the most challenging given their nature. A number of set minimum criteria are established and can vary year to year, including minimal net assets, minimal management experience, intention to settle in Quebec, investment agreements, and a specific investment into government investment program for a preset period of time.

Work Permit - Employer-Specific

This temporary work permit, also called a “closed-work permit” allows a foreign worker to work for a specific employer for a certain period of time. This type of work permit is subject to a job offer from a Canadian employer and must generally be supported by a positive Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) which concludes that there is no Canadian citizen or permanent resident available to perform the work in question.

Study Permit

Study Permits for a duration of more than six months require admission to a designated learning institution. The permits are issued for a fee by the Government of Canada. The process differs according to a number of variables such as whether you are already in Canada and this is your first application, and whether you are a U.S. citizen or permanent resident, and Danish citizen applying from Greenland, a French Citizen applying from Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon, etc.

Study to Immigrate

Canadian permanent residency can be obtained by international students. Our Study to Immigrate program helps to guide you through the process, even assisting in finding the right university and study program suitable for immigration purposes. The professional fees for the Study to Immigrate application are $3000 to $4000 depending upon complexity of the file.

Work Permit - Open

These work permits are intended for the spouses of specialized temporary workers. The permit for the spouse is “open” meaning that they do not have to indicate a specific employer sponsor. This is essentially a sub-category of a spousal sponsorship and this permit is dependent upon the main permit of the sponsoring spouse.
